opera, ballet, symphony, and musicals. Among the major touring
companies featured are the American Ballet Theater and the Los
Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra. Richard Lippold's enormous
Firebird, a sculpture of polished metal that resembles a bird
taking flight, extends outward from the glass-enclosed lobby.
Free, backstage tours are conducted Mondays, Wednesdays, and
Saturdays at 10:30 AM.
